Учет и аудит позволяет планировать, контролировать и отчитываться про финансово-хозяйственную деятельность. Обширные знания в этих дисциплинах могут использоваться в работе бухгалтеров, аудиторов, финансовых менеджеров, ревизоров, контролеров, консультантов. Как правило, работники, обладающие специальностью «Учет и аудит», занимаются подготовкой и проверкой отчетов, аудиторской проверкой.

В процессе обучения по специальности «Учет и аудит», помимо стандартных образовательных методик, используются рейтинговая система оценки знаний студентов, а также деловые игры.
