Extramural and Distance Learning
In the 2009-2010 academic year MNTU introduces a correspondence-distance learning.
Correspondence and Distance Learning - a technology based on principles of open learning, extensive use of computer training programs for various purposes and modern telecommunications to deliver educational material and communicate directly with the location of students.
Benefits of Extramural and Distance Learning:
- Free training schedule;
- Independently determine the pace of education;
- Independent of location;
- Job training of production even during exam period, and so and.
Extramural and Distance Learning involves active interaction with the teacher - coordinator of the course, cooperation in the various cognitive and creative activity.
Control is systematic and based on operational feedback and automatic control systems through testing.
Students are provided a full set of teaching materials for each discipline, including:
- Electronic textbook;
- Guidelines and reference synopsis of the schedule and plan the teaching process, objectives for all types of occupations;
- Access to electronic libraries;
- Additional information materials on CD-ROM.
Students practice master modern information technology and teaching methods and activities in the information society.
Difference of correspondence-distance education in MNTU from other universities is that its development involves computerization of the University in full.
